Video Slideshow: Cambodia - Siem Reap and the Temples of Angkor

My love for Asian culture started in 1979 (or at least that is my earliest memory) when I was just a child after watching the classic children's TV series Monkey, which was shown every Friday at 6.00 pm on BBC 2. Since then I have been fascinated by the Far East, especially the traditional costumes and its various religions and philosophies. For many years I have wanted to visit Cambodia in particular, especially to see the temples of Angkor and classical Cambodian dance. I finally got the opportunity to go this year spending two fantastic weeks in Siem Reap. I was completely blown away by the culture and the genuine hospitality of the Khmer people. I plan to write more about my trip and to post additional photos, but for now I have put together a video slideshow presentation of a small selection of my photographs which I hope you will enjoy viewing. Photos include Apsara dancers, temples of Angkor, Khmer children, and the Cambodian Cultural Village.
